調子はどうですか。ちょうしはどうですか。

Choushi ha dou desu ka.

How are you (feeling)?

*One case where this is convenient to use is if you’re asking if is sick. If you just say どうですか, you may not get the meaning across as well, so this phrase is perfect. I guess you could also say 大丈夫ですか, but 調子はどうですか seems better suited for more subtle situations where the person doesn’t look like he or she is completely out.
